Ulus Sert joined Hofmann & Partner in November 2023 as Tax Manager/CFO Services. He is responsible for serving our clients in the tax area and closely collaborates with Thomas Wenk, who is responsible for the tax department.

Before Ulus Sert joined the team in November 2023, he held the position of Head of Withholding Tax for the Basel-Landschaft tax authorities. Prior to that, he worked for Deloitte Switzerland and Deloitte Germany for 8.5 years in providing tax advisory services to globally mobile employees, international local hire population or to multinational companies with their expatriate management.

Ulus Sert holds a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Business Administration and has completed a higher education in Business Administration (Certified Business Economist HF). Additionally, he has successfully completed various tax-related training programs. From  November 2024, Ulus Sert will work as an instructor at the Higher Education Business Administration, teaching the subject of Taxation.
