Thomas Wenk is a partner at Hoffmann & Partner and is responsible for the tax department. In this function he advises companies and corporate clients on national and international tax issues (including tax optimisation and planning), mainly in connection with valuations and corporate transactions. Upon request, he supports companies and individuals in all tax matters, including tax returns and declarations, independently of valuations and company transactions. His many years of experience in these areas make him one of the leading experts in the field of tax advice for medium-sized companies.

Thomas Wenk started his professional career at STG-Coopers & Lybrand / PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked as Tax Manager for eight years. He then moved to a leading trust company in Northwestern Switzerland as head of the tax department. He became a partner in 2007 before joining Hoffmann & Partner in January 2013.

Thomas Wenk studied law at the University of Basel (lic. iur.) before successfully completing his training as a certified tax expert. In addition to various publications, he is the editor of the commentary on the tax law of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
